Guadalupe St., at 3:48 p.m. Monday.• a backpack, a laptop computer and two MP3 players were stolen from a residence in the 2200 block of Miguel Chavez Road sometime before 1 p.m. Sunday.• Three cases of Mountain Dew soda were taken from the bed of a 2000 Chevrolet pickup parked in the 1000 block of Calle Margarita between 10 p.m. Dec. 29 and 11 p.m. Thursday.• an iPod and a velvet jacket were taken from a 2011 Ford parked in the 2400 block of Camino Capitan sometime between 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 8:20 a.m. Monday.• a wedding ring set, a leather jacket and CDs were stolen from a 2003 Chevrolet parked at the Regal Santa Fe Stadium 14 movie theater, 3474 Zafarano Drive, between 8:05 p.m. and midnight Friday. Police asked Hill to leave the property, but he refused and was arrested, according to the report.• David Baca, 31, of Santa Fe was arrested Tuesday on a charge of concealing his identity after reportedly providing a false name and birth date to police.• a resident of a mobile-home park on Ash Street told police Tuesday that sometime around Oct. 17, a family member took a passport and tools from his home.• a resident of Edgewood reported that he surprised a burglar at his home Tuesday and that the suspect fled with two remote controls.• a woman in the Rabbit Road area of Santa Fe reported Monday that she had received a letter indicating she owed $481 for Internet services she had never purchased. She suspects someone in Virginia is using her identity.• Michael Ellis, 41, of Santa Fe was arrested Tuesday on charges of battery against a household member, false imprisonment and interference with communications. according to a police report, Ellis was involved in a verbal argument with a household member that escalated. Ellis reportedly pulled the victim’s hair and forced her into his vehicle while she was attempting to call 911.• a 57-year-old Chupadero woman died Tuesday. She had been a hospice-care patient and passed away due to medical complications, according to the police report. there were no signs of foul play at the scene.• a .40-caliber Glock 22 firearm with tactical light, a Century Arms AK-47 with folding stock, an SKS rifle with scope, four gun cases and ammunition, with a combined value of $2,580, were stolen form a home on Avenida Sonrisa on Tuesday. the unknown suspects gained entry into the home by forcing open a back bedroom window.• Jose Calles-Gallardo, 18, of Santa Fe was arrested Wednesday on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, buying, selling or giving alcohol to minors and resisting or evading police officers. according to a police report, Calles-Gallardo and a 16-year-old male were intoxicated and hiding behind a store on Airport Road.• a garage-door opener and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on old Galisteo Road in the Hondo area Wednesday.• Michael Flores, 23, 15B Sloman Lane, was arrested on a Magistrate Court warrant charging battery of a household member Wednesday.DWI arrest• Monique Baca, 31, of Santa Fe was arrested Tuesday on charges of DWI and child abuse.
